Questions and Answers

Filler is anime-only content that is not part of the original manga. Some consider the anime and manga to have separate canons, therefore, filler episodes should be skipped if you are trying to watch a purely canon version of the story as the manga author intended.

Filler is most commonly made when anime catches up to the source material. Some studios decide to create filler episodes, or even entire filler arcs, to keep their timeslots rather than have the anime go on hiatus.

Filler episodes can also be one-offs created for special occasions, such as movie tie-ins, or holidays.

That is entirely up to you. We are here to help you make that choice by guiding you through the process.
